The pursuit of "Circle of Life" had been a persistent endeavor for me. These falls in Southern Utah materialize only during substantial runoff years marked by ample snow and rainfall. Despite multiple visits at different times throughout the day, numerous variables often obstructed a perfect photo opportunity—crowds, challenging lighting conditions, wind, and various other complications. I noticed that the reflection of the blue skies in the water only happened shortly after sunrise which also was the least crowded time of day so I set my alarm for ridiculous o'clock and drove out with my drone to capture it on this fine May day. It took a while for the blue sky to properly reflect in the water and by then I was in a frenzy to select the proper composition before the newly arrived visitors invaded the scene. Circle of Life was captured and named from the Biblical reference in Isaiah 55.
