"Court Order" unveils a breathtaking scene, captured on a rare, tranquil day in Zion National Park. A friend had scouted the location earlier that winter and excitedly led the way scrambling up through the rocks and brush until we reached this glorious platform. Guided by a friend's earlier scouting, we scrambled through rocks and brush to reach this elevated perch.

The photograph reflects a moment of daring and uncertainty—seldom considered by a photographer. "Court Order" plays on the emotions and thoughts running through my mind, hinting at the potential consequences of navigating such precarious heights. Fortunately, the day unfolded without incident.

This image is a testament to the convergence of risk and reward in pursuit of capturing nature's beauty. A focus stack of twelve images ensures clarity and depth of field, preserving the intricate details from the foreground to the majestic snow-kissed backdrop.
