Morning's Unveiling Near Zion National Park was captured on a very cold morning in March 2023. Luckily there wasn't any traffic at this hour because I'm pretty slow at getting everything set for what I wanted for the image. I love the fact that we have roads in Southern Utah that display this kind of beauty literally minutes from our home. The contrast of the red rocks and the wintery Pine Valley Mountains is visible in many areas of Hurricane but I was drawn to the way the foreground hill framed the magic on this morning. Photography is often a game of chasing without much capturing and on this particular morning I was after something completely different near the same location and almost didn't venture out for this image.

This was captured with a Nikon Z7 with a Nikor 80-200s lens at 140mm, f8 at 1/200. It works well in all formats including canvass and metal.
