Description
Zion National Park receives over 5 million visitors per year. Most of the visitors come between April and October and visit the main canyon where long lines and crowded trails are the norm. However, there are seasons and roads less traveled. The Kolob canyon portion of the park is a bit higher in elevation and offers year-round access (except during large snow storms) and is breathtaking! This image was captured on January 18th 2023 a few days after a storm an it was a heavenly sight to see the wintery landscape. I'm not going to lie, it's not for everyone and the icy roads can be challenging.
