Description
Three weeks ago we just started to emerge from the notorious winter of 2023. Snow was present just a few days prior. The symphony of spring came about a month later than normal. It was the first week of April when the buds first appeared bursting forth into leaves, then vines and now flowers of fruit. Expectations were hindered but God’s timing was perfect. His plan was to bring forth fruit.
“For as the earth brings forth its bud, As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, So the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations”. (Isa 61:11)
First Fruits was captured as a focus stack consisting of 14 images with a Nikon Z7 and 24-70mm S lens with a macro adapter 1/20 at f/11. This is one of our Cabernet Sauvignon vines that we produce delicious jelly within hours of harvest in the fall.
